Wilbraham Men’s Glee Club to Begin Rehearsals

On Monday, January 8, 2018, The Wilbraham Men’s Glee Club will begin rehearsing for its annual Spring concerts. Rehearsals will be held on Mondays from 7 to 9 p.m. at Christ the King Church in Wilbraham. Conductor Raymond Drury and accompanist Marcia Jackson will return in preparation for concerts scheduled for Sunday, April 29 in Longmeadow and Sunday, May 6 in Wilbraham.

Artistic Director Drury has chosen an eclectic and intriguing program consisting of classical pieces, contemporary choral selections, folk songs, patriotic numbers, pop songs, and a few surprises along the way.

The Glee Club is comprised of approximately 40 male singers. In addition to a $30 fee to help cover music costs, all that’s needed to join are the ability to “carry a tune” and a willingness to learn. No auditions are required.
